Football Manager Not Being Released On PlayStation Vita

Studio head of Sports Interactive, Miles Jacobson has revealed that PlayStation Vita gamers may not see another instalment of Football Manager on the handheld console.

“The decision on whether we were going to do another one was always going to be sales-based, and at the moment it’s not looking likely. As a tech experiment it was a brilliant thing to do, being able to have save games going from PC, Mac and Linux to Vita and back again is something that nobody else has done to date. We hope that other people will do it in the future and it is certainly something that we would look at doing again on other platforms, if there are platforms powerful enough for it.”

This isn’t a surprise to be honest, seeing as the Vita hasn’t exactly been the most popular console on the market. We expect loads of other developers to give up on it soon.
